Need a disk duplicator, but not sure what to get - how do they work?
We need one at work for making several of the same CDs and DVDs for clients. I've heard that you just make the first disk from your computer, and put it in the duplicator with several blank disks and it will do everything on its own. However, looking at them online, they look a little to small to hold many disks at once, and there is no information about whether they will make more than one disk. It looks like you would have to keep putting in a new blank disk manually after each one is burned. We need one that will refill a blank disk on its own.

There are many different models of duplicators, some have one burner drive, some have multiple, some are manual, some take a stack of blank CDs and robotically load the burner(s). The automatic ones cost in the thousands, so it depends how many disks you are making at a time. If it is less than 10 of each disk, forget it, do it on a PC. If you are making dozens or hundreds of disks on a continuing basis, it starts to make sense. Is there a stand alone DVD duplicator that will duplicate copyrighted disks?
I know most don't but all i want to do is copy my movies so the kids can have their own copies and i can preserve the original.I know there is a way around the copyright and i want to know if there is a product out there that just lets you copy your movies. Come on people..I know there are geniuses out there to help me!

piracy is illegal this is for back up purposes only since you are making a back up of your originals, this is how you do it, you need a decrypter there are lots out there any DVD is a good one, you can dowload DVD43 this one is free now you need a program like : clone cd,nero, or nti media maker clone CD is the easiest to use now once you have these programs on your computer you have the Decrypter running and the copying program running put original in DVD drive and copy once that is done the program will ask you to put in a blank disk (make sure you have the right size disk 4.7 or 8.5 gig disk) to copy to your original will tell you how big it is in properties. the slower the burn the better the copy, note : not all movies will direct copy over sometimes you need other programs to do it but this will do about 90% of movies. (if doing Disney latest) you should keep up to date by using any DVD latest version
